Biography
Gilbert Bodjé Assi is a seasoned executive with over 27 years of experience in the energy sector. He is currently a Partner at StredgePartners, where he leads the Oil & Gas, Energy, Renewables, and Distribution portfolio. In this role, Gilbert leverages his extensive industry knowledge to provide strategic consulting services, helping clients navigate the complexities of the energy market and drive sustainable growth.
Before joining StredgePartners, Gilbert served as the Managing Director for Vivo Energy in Guinea, overseeing the distribution and marketing of Shell-branded fuels and lubricants. His career with Vivo Energy and Shell spanned various leadership roles, including Group Head of Distribution, Managing Director for operations in Uganda and Madagascar, and Supply and Distribution Manager in Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal.
Gilbert’s expertise in supply chain management, operational excellence, and health, safety, security, and environment (HSSE) management has been instrumental in his success. He holds a degree in Energetics Engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute Felix Houphouet-Boigny in Côte d’Ivoire.
